Our tours will take you into the heart of the mountain and show you the work being done on the Brenner Base Tunnel from up close.

Our visitors' safety is very important to us. We therefore reserve the right to substitute the tour of the tunnel with another tour, such as to the disposal site in the Padaster valley, or to cancel the tour altogether, should construction or logistics issues require it.

Registration is only possible from our website.

Tours will take place only on set days and at set times:

Tuesdays at 9.30 AM, except for holidays.

The following rules and prescriptions must be observed:

  • A visitor group must consist of a minimum of 7 to a maximum of 14 people.

  • Good health and being "steady on one's feet" are requirements for taking the tunnel tour.

  • Minimum age: 18 years old (exception: for school classes accompanied by an adult and with parental permission, children may be 15 years of age)

  • Pregnant women and persons with pacemakers may not take part in the guided tours into the tunnel.

For safety reasons, we cannot take larger groups into the tunnel. For such groups, there are tours free of charge (Tuesdays to Fridays) of our Infocenter Tunnel World in Steinach.
