'The Brenner Tunnel will be able to integrate smart technologies and zero-emission transport, fostering innovation and sustainability with economic and environmental benefits for the whole of Europe,' says Sara.
“The BBT is a state-of-the-art project that will connect northern and southern Europe, bringing Italy closer to the rest of the continent, reducing CO₂ emissions and creating new economic opportunities," Fabio adds.
Sustainability, economic opportunities and new technologies are key themes that emerged from our followers on Instagram, who shared their thoughts on the benefits of the project. And on Instagram, on 23 October, we launched a competition with five free tickets to the fair. Besides Sara and Fabio, Alexandra, Daniel and Roswitha also took the opportunity to participate.
For Alexandra, the Brenner Base Tunnel represents ‘a sustainable and forward-looking project in terms of mobility and the environment'. Daniel, on the other hand, believes that the reduction of motorway traffic can improve the quality of life, and Roswitha also sees the decongestion of the A22 highway as a key instrument for improving air quality on both sides of the Brenner Pass.
The BBT will therefore bring many benefits to Alto Adige and Tyrol, strengthening the synergy between territories, people and the environment. We will talk about this and much more at our stand at the Bolzano Fair. We look forward to seeing you from Thursday to Sunday, see you soon!
