The Brenner Base Tunnel will offer greater job and leisure opportunities in Italy, Austria, and beyond. This is confirmed by the numerous participants in our online competition, launched on Instagram on September 26th, who enthusiastically explained how their lives will change once the world’s longest railway tunnel between Innsbruck and Fortezza goes into operation.
“Once the BBT is completed, the train journey from Fortezza to Innsbruck will only take 25 minutes. How will this change things for you?” we asked our followers on Instagram. Brigitte has no doubts: thanks to the Brenner Base Tunnel, she will be able to spend more time with her children and her students in Innsbruck.
For Andreas, the capital of Tyrol is synonymous with culture and leisure. With the opening of the Brenner Base Tunnel, it will be possible to “take a nice walk in Innsbruck, perhaps visit the Hofburg at a leisurely pace, listen to a concert in the Hofkirche, and be home in time for dinner.”
Isabella, on the other hand, is looking forward to Christmas and the most authentic traditions of South Tyrol: “Thanks to the tunnel, I can get to the Christmas markets of Bressanone more quickly”.
So many opportunities are offered by such an important and significant project in the heart of Europe. The winners of our competition have already won a ticket to the Innsbruck fair, but all our other dedicated followers, both online and offline, are invited to the ‘Autumn Fair’.
From today until Sunday, you can find us at our stand. See you soon!
