Bolzano - The construction of large scale public infrastructures may increase the risk of infiltration of criminal organizations; although, throughout the history of the Province of Bolzano such forms of crime seldom occurred, it was considered appropriate to put in practice all necessary measures to avoid the infiltration of criminal organizations.
This is why the European Company Brenner Basistunnel BBT SE has concluded the Ethical agreement on legality with the Government Commissariat of the Province of Bolzano, which was signed by the Government Commissioner Fulvio Testi and both CEOs of BBT SE, Raffaele Zurlo and Konrad Bergmeister.
By concluding the Ethical agreement on legality, the parties involved have committed themselves to the observance of the rules in force pertaining the fight against organized criminality and have introduced specific measures to protect and monitor ongoing tender procedures and works for the Brenner Base Tunnel.
