Infopoints
Do you have specific questions or are you simply interested in general information on the Brenner Base Tunnel? Come visit us at our infopoints in Fortezza or Innsbruck. We look forward to explaining the project and giving information on topics such as environmental protection, traffic policy or geology. Wall charts, models and videos show the tunnel route, provide information on the geological makeup of the rock mass and show the current status of the construction work.

The Infopoint at Innsbruck central station opened in January 2010. Since then there has been a considerable flow of visitors, both local and part of the stream of travellers. There were 20,000 visitors to the exhibition in the first year alone. Highlights are a satellite image overlaid with the tunnel route which shows the layout of the project, and a geological cross-section with rock samples for hands-on study. A recent addition is the model of a tunnel boring machine used in the construction of the Gotthard base tunnel in Switzerland.
